Spring has sprung! Well… almost. But with subtle signs of warmer weather, I’m already on my way to preparing for those days under the sun. In addition to adding some new spring-themed recipes into the mix, I’m changing up my wardrobe.
Below, you’ll find some of my favorite spring style staples. I included some affordable closet essentials, plus a few picks from the Just Jill Shop!

Outerwear and Sweaters
Just because the weather is warming up doesn’t mean it’s time to put your outerwear and sweaters away. Instead, these spring style staples are perfect for layering!

I wear a denim jacket at LEAST once a week. It’s my classic style, and it’s here to stay!
Jean jackets are great for layering and awesome for that winter-to-spring transition. And while the one I’m wearing above was from TJ Maxx, I found a similar one HERE that I think you’ll love!

Who says you can only wear leather during the colder months? I love this Faux Leather Jacket because it comes in a few colors. And when the weather doesn’t hold up, it’s always nice to have an extra layer.

I love a good cardigan when spring rolls around. This one from Loft has a relaxed look, and it’s made with a comfortable (and machine-washable) cotton-blend material.

But if you like a pullover style, these ones are sure to brighten your wardrobe.

Some cardigans can get a bit bulky, but this one from QVC is light and airy. I love the textured look and adore the colors—so vibrant!
Tops For Your Spring Style
Whether they’re worn alone or used for layering, tees, tanks, and tops are a great spring style.

If you’re looking for a basic tee, I love this 100% cotton style. It comes in multiple colors, and it has a relaxed yet tailored fit.

There are so many great tees in this storefront at Gap, too. Something for every occasion!

This Denim Top from Land’s End is a great way to ease into your spring style look. With rolled sleeves and a lightweight look, it will keep you feeling fabulous even on a cloudy day.

Tanks are one of my go-to styles during the spring and summer. But sometimes, a tank isn’t always appropriate for the environment. That’s why I have my eye on this relaxed tee.
The straps are wider, and the neckline is higher for a more modest look. Plus, it comes in eight colors!

I love the look of this loungewear top because it can be worn out and about, or around the home. It also comes in four fun colors!
Pants and Jeans To Wear This Spring
Here are a few of my favorite spring style pant looks. Of course, you’ll see some classics. But you’ll also find some unique options as well.

Looking to transition from jeans to capris? I found a variety of options to choose from. I love the styles on this page that can be worn with just about anything.

And if you’re in need of a white pair, I recommend taking a look at these slim ankle jeans. Now, white can be intimidating… so make sure you find something that makes you look AND feel good.
NYDJ has been that brand for me forever!

But before I move on from jeans, I wanted to show you one more pair from Jen 7. They’re decorated in a beautiful floral pattern, which is the perfect spring style if you ask me.
This pair is no longer available, but this style is very similar!
Spring Style Sandals and Shoes
Skip into spring with these warm-weather shoes.

These springtime sandals come in three versatile colors and sizes 5 to 11 women’s. The straps scream “spring!” and the padded footbeds are sure to keep you comfortable while walking outside in the nice weather.

I’ve been wearing Birkenstocks my entire life. In fact, I have pairs that have lasted me for over 10 years! They aren’t cheap, but if you ask me, the quality makes them worth the investment.
This one is the Arizona sandal which is their most popular style. I love wearing this style with a cute maxi dress!

In my opinion, everyone should own a good pair of white sneakers. And if you’re looking for one that are both stylish and comfortable, check out these ones from Revitalign.
Accessories
Don’t miss out on these accessories for spring.

If you’re on the hunt for a new bag, you’ll love this Spring Handbag Guide. It includes styles from Dooney and Bourke, Vera Bradley, and more!

Fragrance is an accessory, right? I sure think it is! Spring is a great time to transition to a new fragrance. Typically, the Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt is my signature. But when the weather warms up, I transition to Philosophy Fresh Cream.

I also enjoy this one from Jo Malone. It’s called Wild Bluebell. So clean and so fresh—with just a subtle floral scent! I’m really enjoying it!

This lightweight scarf from LOFT features a beautiful paisley pattern. An easy way to add a springtime touch to your outfit!
So even if it’s still a little cold where you live, I hope these spring style picks will give you some warm-weather inspiration.
From my closet to yours,
Jill
